The workshop concentrates on the data requirements in nuclear astrophysics focussing on different experimental and theoretical methods to determine the data as well as on the question how to evaluate the data and make it accessible for the modellers.
It continues a tradition that started with NIC-IX in 2006 when a satellite workshop on data needs for nuclear astrophysics was held at Basel. In the meantime joint meetings of JINA and CARINA were organised in 2007 at ECT*, Trento, Italy, and during NIC-X in 2008 at Mackinac Island.
We are very happy to invite you to join us at the conference center Darmstadtium in the city center of Darmstadt for our three-days workshop right after NIC-XI at Heidelberg.
